Notes

The probability density function for johnsonsu is:

f (x, a, b) = \frac{b}{x ^{2} + 1} ϕ (a + b lo g (x + x^{2} + 1))

where $x$ , $a$ , and $b$ are real scalars; $b > 0$ . $ϕ$ is the pdf of the normal distribution.

johnsonsu takes $a$ and $b$ as shape parameters.

The first four central moments are calculated according to the formulas in ^[1].
