function
scipy.spatial.transform._rigid_transform:RigidTransform.__init__
Signature
def __init__(self, matrix: ArrayLike, normalize: bool = True, copy: bool = True)Summary
Initialize from a 4x4 transformation matrix.
Extended Summary
Rotations are not meant to be initialized directly. Please use one of the from_... methods instead.
Parameters
matrix: array_like, shape (..., 4, 4)A single transformation matrix or a stack of transformation matrices.
normalize: bool, optionalIf True, orthonormalize the rotation matrix using singular value decomposition. If False, the rotation matrix is not checked for orthogonality or right-handedness.
copy: bool, optionalIf True, copy the input matrix. If False, a reference to the input matrix is used. If normalize is True, the input matrix is always copied regardless of the value of copy.
Returns
transform: `RigidTransform` instance
