blas_function

scipy.linalg._fblas:strmm

source: build-install/usr/lib/python3.14/site-packages/scipy/linalg/_fblas.cpython-314-x86_64-linux-gnu.so

Signature

def strmm(alpha, a, b, side = 0, lower = 0, trans_a = 0, diag = 0, overwrite_b = 0)

Summary

Compute the triangular matrix-matrix product b = alpha*op(a)@b (BLAS strmm).

Parameters

alpha : float

Scalar multiplier.

a : ndarray

Triangular matrix; only the triangle selected by lower is referenced.

b : ndarray

Input/output matrix.

side : int, optional

If 0, a multiplies from the left; if 1, from the right. Default is 0.

lower : int, optional

If 0, the upper triangle is used; if 1, the lower. Default is 0.

trans_a : int, optional

Operation on a: 0 none, 1 transpose, 2 conjugate transpose. Default is 0.

diag : int, optional

If 0, the matrix has a non-unit diagonal; if 1, it is unit-triangular. Default is 0.

overwrite_b : int, optional

If nonzero, b may be overwritten in place. Default is 0.

Returns

b : ndarray

The matrix alpha*op(a)@b (or alpha*b@op(a) if side=1).
