scipy.linalg._fblas:zdrot

source: build-install/usr/lib/python3.14/site-packages/scipy/linalg/_fblas.cpython-314-x86_64-linux-gnu.so

Signature

def zdrot(x, y, c, s, n = None, offx = 0, incx = 1, offy = 0, incy = 1, overwrite_x = 0, overwrite_y = 0)

Summary

Apply a Givens plane rotation to x and y: x, y = c*x + s*y, c*y - s*x (BLAS zdrot).

Parameters

x : ndarray

Input/output vector; on exit it holds c*x + s*y.

y : ndarray

Input/output vector; on exit it holds c*y - s*x.

c : float

Cosine of the rotation (real, even though x and y are complex).

s : float

Sine of the rotation (real, even though x and y are complex).

n : int, optional

Number of elements to process. Default is the whole vector.

offx : int, optional

Index of the first element of x to use. Default is 0.

incx : int, optional

Stride between successive elements of x. Default is 1.

offy : int, optional

Index of the first element of y to use. Default is 0.

incy : int, optional

Stride between successive elements of y. Default is 1.

overwrite_x : int, optional

If nonzero, x may be overwritten in place. Default is 0.

overwrite_y : int, optional

If nonzero, y may be overwritten in place. Default is 0.

Returns

x : ndarray

The rotated vector x.

y : ndarray

The rotated vector y.
