Summary

Query the workspace tgsen needs for this select and ijob (LAPACK stgsen with lwork = -1).

Parameters

select : ndarray: Boolean mask of length n: the eigenvalues it marks are gathered into the leading block. A bool array works; LAPACK reads it as a Fortran LOGICAL.
a : ndarray: Upper (quasi-)triangular factor of the pencil, shape (n, n).
ijob : int, optional: What to compute besides the reordering, 0 through 5; 0 reorders only. Default is 4.

Returns

work : float: Optimal lwork for the matching tgsen call.
iwork : int: Optimal liwork.
info : int: 0 on success; if negative, the -info-th argument had an illegal value.
