def zhegvd(a, b, itype = 1, jobz = V, uplo = L, lwork = Ellipsis, lrwork = Ellipsis, liwork = Ellipsis, overwrite_a = 0, overwrite_b = 0)Summary
Solve the generalized Hermitian-definite eigenproblem by divide-and-conquer (LAPACK zhegvd).
Parameters
a: ndarrayHermitian matrix of shape
(n, n).b: ndarrayPositive definite matrix of shape
(n, n).itype: int, optionalWhich generalized problem to solve: 1 for
a @ x = w * b @ x, 2 fora @ b @ x = w * x, 3 forb @ a @ x = w * x. Default is 1.jobz: str, optional'V'to compute eigenvectors,'N'for eigenvalues only. Default is'V'. This family spells it as a letter wheresyevusescompute_v.uplo: str, optional'U'or'L'for the triangle ofato reference. Default is'L'-- note that is the opposite of thelower=0default elsewhere in this group, so the same matrix can give different answers between families.lwork: int, optionalDefault is
n * (n + 2)whenjobzis'V',n + 1otherwise.lrwork: int, optionalSize of the real workspace, which the real flavors do not have. Default is
2 * n ** 2 + 5 * n + 1whenjobzis'V',notherwise.liwork: int, optionalDefault is
5 * n + 3whenjobzis'V',1otherwise.overwrite_a: int, optionalIf nonzero, a may be overwritten in place. Default is 0.
overwrite_b: int, optionalIf nonzero,
bmay be overwritten in place. Default is 0.
Returns
w: ndarrayEigenvalues in ascending order, length
n. Real for every flavor.v: ndarrayEigenvectors as columns when
jobzis'V'.info: int0 on success; if negative, the
-info-th argument had an illegal value; if positive, the algorithm failed to converge.
