Summary

Compute the Cholesky factorization of a positive definite matrix in rectangular full packed (RFP) storage (LAPACK spftrf).

Parameters

n : int: Order of the square matrix.
a : ndarray: The triangle named by uplo, in RFP storage, length n * (n + 1) / 2.
transr : str, optional: 'N' for the normal RFP layout, 'T' for the transposed one. Default is 'N'.
uplo : str, optional: 'U' if a holds the upper triangle, 'L' if lower. Default is 'U'.
overwrite_a : int, optional: If nonzero, a may be overwritten in place. Default is 0.

Returns

achol : ndarray: The Cholesky factor in RFP storage, overwriting a.
info : int: 0 on success; if negative, the -info-th argument had an illegal value.
